PAIN BENDING™ C0ACHING PROGRAM
6-Week Pain Bending Coaching Program:
Change ... Choose your own adventure!
Embrace Transformation and Become the Change Maker You Aspire to Be
Overview
This 6-week coaching program, titled Change…Choose your own adventure!, is designed to help individuals navigate the intimidating yet empowering process of making meaningful changes in their lives. Whether you’re standing at the edge of uncertainty or ready to leap into action, this program will guide you in understanding your readiness for change, overcoming fears, and fostering a mindset that supports transformation. By addressing key concepts like mindset shifts, roadblocks, fear, and storytelling, you will learn to become the architect of the life you desire.
Once per week you will have a 1:1 meeting with your coach.
Once every other week you will be invited to join the small group of other participants for a Q and A session. These will be recorded, and you will receive a copy of the recording. You can submit questions ahead of time if you want or if you cannot attend in person.
Program Highlights
Dream Giver Concept: Inspired by the “Dream Giver” book, this program incorporates the idea that everyone has a unique calling or dream. Participants will explore their “Big Dream” and how making and embracing change can help achieve it.
Interactive Exercises: Each week includes hands-on activities such as journaling, group discussions, visualization exercises, and personal storytelling to foster engagement and progress.
Supportive Community: Participants will have access to a group of like-minded individuals who are also navigating change. This supportive environment encourages accountability and shared growth. You will have the ability to join this FB group to connect with other members of this coaching program.
Week 1: Change - Is it scary?
The journey begins by exploring common barriers to change. In this session, we will uncover:
- What makes change so intimidating and why we often resist it.
- The emotional and mental roots of your relationship to change, your fear(s)—what do they mean to you and for you moving forward?
- Techniques to reframe change as a sign of growth rather than a trauma or limitation.
Through guided exercises, participants will reflect on their fears about change and begin to identify how these fears and other emotions can become stepping stones rather than obstacles.
Week 2: How Do You Know You're Ready?
In week two, the focus shifts to assessing your readiness for change. Many of us feel the pull to change but aren’t sure if the moment is right. This week, participants will:
- Evaluate their current mindset and feelings about change.
- Answer crucial questions like: Why do you want to make a change? What does this change mean for you?
- Explore the desire for change and how it aligns with their values and goals.
By the end of this session, participants will have clarity on whether they are ready to move forward and why their aspirations matter.
Week 3: Mindshift Changes and Roadblock Advice
Creating meaningful change requires a significant shift in mindset. This week focuses on:
- Understanding and cultivating the mindset of a "Change Maker."
- Practical advice for identifying and overcoming common roadblocks.
- The power of imperfect action—why small, imperfect steps are better than none at all
Participants will create a personal “Mindset Map” that will serve as a blueprint for overcoming challenges and staying focused on their goals.
Week 4: Moving Into Change - Get Comfortable with the Uncomfortable
This week focuses on the process of taking action and embracing discomfort as part of growth. Key topics include:
- Understanding that change often feels uncomfortable but is necessary for progress.
- Recognizing that things take as long as the time you give them—patience is key and creating time limits and dates of completion are essential.
- Taking baby steps: small, consistent moves build momentum and confidence.
- Just make a move—action, no matter how imperfect, is what leads to change.
Change: Traumatic or Enjoyable?
Change can evoke vastly different emotions for different people—it may feel traumatic for some and enjoyable for others. This session will explore:
- Why change can feel overwhelming and how to process those emotions constructively.
- How to identify moments where change can bring joy or open up new opportunities.
- Strategies to create a positive relationship with change by embracing curiosity rather than fear.
Through reflective exercises, participants will learn to approach change with an open mind and discover how curiosity can transform their experience of change into a journey of growth and possibility.
Week 5: Tools for Positively Moving Into Change
This session equips participants with practical tools to facilitate positive transitions. Topics include:
- Visualization techniques to imagine success and stay motivated.
- Journaling exercises for self-reflection and tracking progress.
- Mindfulness practices to manage stress and stay grounded during change.
- Physical activities that support the journey.
- Creating supportive routines and environments that reinforce positive habits.
Participants will leave with a toolkit of strategies to navigate change effectively and maintain momentum beyond the program.
Week 6: Understanding and Enhancing Your Relationship to Change
The final week ties together all the lessons of the program by revisiting the theme of fear and embracing the power of storytelling. Participants will:
- Explore the role of fear in personal narratives and how to rewrite those stories.
- Learn how storytelling can be a tool to motivate and inspire change.
- Reflect on their journey and celebrate their growth as a "Change Maker."
Through guided storytelling exercises, participants will craft a narrative that empowers them to continue their transformation long after the program ends.
Outcome
By the end of this 6-week coaching program, participants will:
- Understand their relationship to change, their fears, and how to embrace themselves.
- Develop the mindset and tools needed to become a "Change Maker."
- Gain clarity on their motivations and goals for change.
- Have a plan to overcome limitations and roadblocks.
- Leave with a personal story that inspires ongoing transformation.
Embark on this transformative journey, and take the first step in becoming the person who can create the big changes you’ve always dreamed about. Are you ready to change? Let’s make it happen together.
